Happy Birthday Lucas

Lucas turned five today. It is so hard to believe that he is old enough to go to kindergarten. Where did the time go? He is so amazing. The things he says to me just boggle the mind. Of course, I can't think of anything specific at the moment, but he does. He can count backwards, explain (in detail) what he is doing and give directions to places. This week we did countdown to birthday. Usually I have to keep reminding him how many days there are until his birthday, but as of last Saturday, he was able to tell me how many days were left and how many were left after the next day and so on. It was amazing and I was so proud of him. He makes me smile.
