July 2006 and no internet
For some reason (probably money) we did not have the internet in our home. I imagine that was really difficult. I use it daily and it is well worth it.

Lucas and I spent Fourth of July with my family (The Kights). I believe we went to the Independence Fair in Tacoma. It was on the waterfront and we had a lot of fun. Lucas was still young, so he went willingly.

We got our cell phone numbers on in June of 2006. I cannot believe we have had the same numbers for three years.
I was browsing through my two family websites and I came across the information regarding Lucas and the spots on his face. He originally saw the dermatologist on June 14, 2006. He was two years old and the spots were prominent on his face. He had to get a biopsy of the spots and it turned out to Benign Cephalic Histiocytosis. It turned out to be non-cancerous and only annoying because it changed his beautiful face. He still has the spots, but they are very light. I don't notice them anymore. Occasionally they flare up from heat or agitation.

Isaac has started to throw fits. He puts his face on the ground and cries while occasionally looking to see my reaction. He will still be standing on his two feet and nothing else will touch the floor except for his face...so his little bum sticks up in the air.

Chris taught Lucas how to spell it and he is really good at it. In fact, he is so good at it that he can spell it with his breath. Today, he got my attention and told me he was going to spell my name with his breath and proceeded to do just that. It was so funny. Chris and I both laughed at him. Then Isaac joined in with his fake laugh.

Anything new that Isaac does, Lucas has to be involved in it. Tonight we were eating dinner and Isaac was cracking up while he was giving me high-fives. He was literally hunched over giggling and he couldn't stop. Lucas did not like that Isaac was laughing so much with me, so he came over to get in on the fun.
So, Lucas and I went on a hour long walk today. Isaac rode along in the stroller. I learned that there is a softball park in Oakville. Who would have thought. Oakville is bigger then I thought. Jessica Huff joined us with her three dalmatians. They are so cute.
Lucas told me that he loved me. I asked him since when. he responded "since Thursday." Then he added, but I have always loved you. He is getting so big and adult sounding. I am so proud of him.
